Wholesale Terms & Conditions
To place a wholesale order, customers should complete our wholesale order form and email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are a new wholesale customer, please complete the web form below and you will be contacted with further information, the order form and up to date price lists. Once we receive a completed order form, we will fill in the prices for your requested items, the order total, and provide you with an order reference number. We will then email this back to you and this will act as your payment invoice. We will notify you of your expected delivery date based on the size of your order. If you have chosen to pay by bank transfer we will include our business account number and sort code in the email, alternatively if you have chosen to pay by credit or debit card, you will receive a payment link from us.
Packaging & Order Fulfilment
We pack items to order to reduce food and packaging waste and use a next day delivery service Monday to Thursday to ensure that your food reaches you as fresh as possible. Customers will be informed of the expected despatch date dependent on the size of the order. All of our packaging material is plastic-free. We use Kraft paper bags and a home compostable plant film. We’ve tested the plant film in our own compost and it takes 12-16 weeks to break down. If you don’t have compost you can tear it up and bury it in the ground if you have your own garden, or you’re welcome to return it to us and we’ll add it to our compost. The Kraft paper bags can be recycled if they have not absorbed oils from the food, or composted otherwise. We use cardboard boxes and paper tape to send your packages, and sometimes use paper padding to add cushioning.
We deliver to all postcodes in the UK including Scottish highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, and Isle of Man. We also deliver to the Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland. The cost of delivery varies depending on your exact location. We have a complete list of postcodes and the costs we charge for each area on the delivery costs section of our ‘How it works’ page. Our delivery prices are exactly what we are charged by the courier (unless your order is travelling outside of mainland UK, we generally use DHL as our main courier). Nottingham and surrounding areas qualify for free delivery on orders over £30 (NG1, NG2, NG3, NG4, NG5, NG6, NG7, NG8, NG9, NG10, NG11, NG12, NG14, NG16, NG17, NG18, NG19, NG20, NG21, NG22, NG25, NG90). For local deliveries we’ll contact you to arrange a delivery slot or you can nominate a safe space for us to leave your parcel. We highly recommend you order in higher quantities less frequently to make the most of each delivery, both in terms of reducing delivery costs and the carbon footprint of your order. If you are local to us, you can opt to collect your order for free from our premises in Daybrook, Nottingham – please note this must be by prior arrangement so that we can ensure your order will be ready.
Up to date price lists will be sent out to subscribers to the wholesale mailing list (we send one approximately every month with news, sneak peeks at new products and more). Prices may be subject to change.
Orders will only be despatched once full payment has been received. Payment can be made via credit or debit card (business or personal) or bank transfer.
If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund for purchases. All food items are exempt from being returned and refunds on these items will only be made if the goods are received in poor condition. This must be brought to our attention as soon as possible after receipt of the goods (no later than 7 days after receipt), and evidence should be provided. We do not accept responsibility for the long-term storage of any produce. It is your responsibility to transfer any perishable items to adequate storage such as an airtight container or jar upon the receipt of goods. If approved, refunds will be processed and credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a few days. If you have a late or missing refund, first check with your bank or credit card company as it can take up to 10 days for refunds to be processed and officially posted. If after this you still believe your refund has not been processed, please contact us at email@example.com.
