Description

This coffee was produced by the Rodriguez family. They started out buying coffee cherries from other producers, processing them and selling them on. However coca growing was made legal in many areas of Bolivia, which caused many farmers to stop growing coffee to switch to the more profitable coca. The Rodriguez family went the other way, buying land and growing their own speciality coffee production.

Their farm is located in the Yunga Jungle in the eastern mountains of Bolivia. They coffee is shade grown, covered by citrus, papaya, peppers, and green beans

All products are packed in a facility which handles soy, wheat, gluten, nuts including tree nuts and peanuts, mustard, and sesame. We take care to store produce safely and keep regulated allergens seperate from other products. All produce is weighed directly in to packaging with individual scoops, however we use the same scales for multiple products (the products do not touch the surface of the scales).
