Soak overnight – or quick-soak by placing in boiling water, taking it off the heat and leaving for one hour.
After soaking , rinse, place in a pan with plenty of water, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes until tender.
Adding baking powder when soaking will result in softer cooked peas. Cooked peas can be used immediately or frozen.
All products are packed in a facility which handles soy, wheat, gluten, nuts including tree nuts and peanuts, mustard, and sesame. We take care to store produce safely and keep regulated allergens seperate from other products. All produce is weighed directly in to packaging with individual scoops, however we use the same scales for multiple products (the products do not touch the surface of the scales).
